Darksiders (PS3) Review....

Well it has almost been a full week since Darksiders was released and I've finally gotten around to posting my thoughts on the game. I have been waiting for this game to be released for around a year or so. I was afraid that my expectations were set too high but once I fired up the PlayStation 3 and loaded the game disc I was quickly relieved.

If you get a chance to play this game, you should take the time and do so. I am thinking that this game is going to be on my "Top 100" List of games in the near future I am compiling as we speak. It combines the best elements of the most popular games released and makes those same elements its own.

Ghostbusters (PS3) Review

I have always been a fan of the original Ghostbusters film from 1984 and when I heard that a game based on the film was going to be released I got pretty excited. I was even more excited to learn that most of the original cast of the film was going to be involved with the voice-overs as well as writing and directing the game.

The game isn't the best in the world, but it's still a lot of fun. It has the feel of the iconic 80's film. Who wouldn't want to strap on a proton pack and bust some ghosts?

Most Anticipated PlayStation 3 game of 2010...

I am looking forward to the release of Darksiders for the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) which is being released on January 5, 2010. From the footage I have seen, I would suggest picking up the PS3 version over the X-Box 360 version. But then again, I am biased and prefer the PS3 anyway.

Oh, and by the way, Mark Hamill (aka Luke Skywalker from Star Wars) provides the voice-overs for a character in the game too. As most already know, he also provides the voice of the Joker in the Batman Animated series as well as all the games, etc.

Currently the only reason to buy a Nintendo Wii...

I am not a big fan of the Nintendo Wii console, but there is one game currently in production for North America that has peaked my interests. Tatsunoko vs Capcom is that game. In keeping with tradition, Capcom is releasing another "versus" fighting game. I would purchase a Nintendo Wii next year only for this game...

Top 5 Fighting Games on the Sega Dreamcast

The Sega Dreamcast (DC) had a large assortment of fighting games, many of them taking advantage of the Dreamcast's support for up to 4 players without the need for a "multi-tap".

Critics complained that the Sega Dreamcast Standard Controller was awkward and bulky. But I believed it to be one of the better controllers out there. There was always the Sega Dreamcast Arcade Stick which worked quite well with the majority of the fighting games available anyway.

Five games really standout from the rest of the fighters available. It was quite hard to narrow down the list to included only five titles, but here they are...
